Are you dog-friendly?
Of course! Not only are we are dog lovers, we even have a ½ acre dog park for Kinship customers and their four-legged friends! Dogs are also welcome on our patio as long as they are leashed and follow the posted pet policy guidelines.
Are dogs allowed in the taproom?
Unless it is a service dog, dogs are not permitted inside the taproom per state law.
Do you give tours?
We do not offer tours of our brewery at this time. In the future, once we’ve settled into the brewery ourselves, we do plan to give regular tours. Stay tuned!
What beers do you have on tap right now?
Our current beer lineup, as well as our entire list of offerings, can be found here.
Do you sell growlers or crowlers?
We do not offer growlers or crowlers for sale at the taproom, but we do offer several of our beers in cans. Due to our liquor license, we cannot sell directly to customers, but many grocery stores in the Des Moines metro have our beer. Feel free to message us to ask about a specific store.
Do you sell kegs?
Unfortunately, without brewery license, we cannot sell directly to customers. However, we can help point you in the right direction!
Do you sell kegs to bars and restaurants?
Yes, we are partnered with a local distributor that ensures our beer is around town when you’re not able to make it out! We are planning to work on a map so that you know where to find Kinship so stay tuned.
Do you sell kegs for weddings and large parties?
If you would like a keg for wedding or large parties, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to help point you in the right direction!
What size is your brewhouse?
30 barrel (AKA BBL) brewhouse. A barrel is 31 gallons of liquid. We wanted to ensure we have plenty of beer for you!
How big are those tanks?
We have 5-30 BBL fermentation tanks and 2-60 BBL fermentation tanks for our first phase. We have the capability of adding additional tanks and larger ones, as well.
Do you serve food?
Absolutely! Our kitchen, Next of Kin, is ready to serve you. Take a look out our menu for the most up to date food.
Can I bring food into the taproom?
We ask that if you plan to eat, you order from our kitchen, Next of Kin.
Are children allowed in the taproom?
Of course! Our taproom welcomes children but we do ask that children remain under their parent’s supervision at all times. No running allowed in the taproom and that goes for adults and kiddos alike!
Do you take reservations or host private events?
We are not taking reservations at this time. However, if you would like to inquire about hosting a private event at Kinship, email email@example.com with details for your event.
Do you serve wine?
Yes, we offer a variety of wine options.
Do you have non-alcoholic options?
We have soft drinks and mocktails for the little ones.
Do you have any gluten-free drink options?
Absolutely! We have a few ciders on tap as well as a variety of wines and Tito’s as well.
